Questions.
Short answers about getting it, cost, privacy and your words.
Getting it
Warmtype is being tested now and is on its way to Google Play. If you have an Android phone and want to try it early, join the test.
No. Warmtype is made for Android.
English at launch, and you can also choose Spanish as a typing language. Voice typing and the AI features are English for now.
Cost
Warmtype is free to install, and typing and autocorrect have no limit. The AI features have a daily limit. A monthly subscription through Google Play gives a larger daily limit and works on up to 2 phones. Google Play shows the price before you buy, and you can cancel any time in Google Play.
Privacy
Only when you open AI Reply, and only after you've given it Android's permission to read the screen. It shows you what it read, including the chat's name, before anything is sent, and you can remove any of it. More about privacy.
No. The keyboard only listens after you tap its mic key, and voice typing works only after you agree to the AI notice. Your speech is then sent to Deepgram to be typed; if Deepgram is unavailable, rate limiting us or refusing our account, the same voice clip may go to Groq for transcription. If the connection fails, the on-phone voice model can type it instead. More about voice typing.
Yes. Choose “Not now” on the notice and the cloud features stay off, and ordinary typing keeps working. You can also withdraw later in Settings, Privacy & data, Withdraw AI consent. Incognito pauses the AI features, learning from your typing and clipboard history. More about turning them off.
Settings, Privacy & data, Delete all my data clears your learned words, clipboard history, saved messages, unsent reports and your consent choices on your phone. It keeps your random install key, which links a subscription to the phone. To remove what our server holds, use Request deletion of my server data on the same screen before you clear your phone, or email us. More about deleting your data.
Your words
Autocorrect works in a series of steps, each able to overrule the last, and you can undo a change with one tap. We're building one engine that weighs where your finger landed, how the word is spelled and the word before it; it is experimental and still off in the app. How we test it.
